Many liberals seem obsessed with emphasizing the secular values and radical ethics encouraged by free, public education in this country. The moral harm may be incalculable, and subject to endless debate, but the scientific harm can be objectively measured.
It’s one thing to argue the merits of Intelligent Design with scientists utterly obsessed with “theories” like Darwinian evolution. Darwin certainly used a primitive version of scientific method to arrive at his conclusions, and one can argue that there is a disconnect between the numbers offered by Creationists and those of the more evidence-based Darwinists. It’s quite another thing altogether, however, to hear of what happened last week at that hotbed of radical politics and intellectual anarchy — the Margaret Sanger College of Liberal Arts at Phil Donahue University in Bliss, Michigan — and not take issue with what seems to be a trend in the American educational system.
In this age of computers, every student is aware of the role of binary numbers, that system wherein almost any idea can be expressed with a series of zeroes and ones, rather than the more traditional zero-through-nine numeric vocabulary used in other forms of mathematics. It was with great alarm then that we at The Post-Industrial Post discovered that the math students at Donahue were also being taught NON-BINARY expressions.
Can you even imagine that? In this great country, one that gave birth to the atom bomb, aerosol deodorant and curb feelers, we’ve stooped to acknowledging the wholly unnatural lifestyles of those in the LGBTQ community. In our math classes! The “T” in LGBTQ is, of course, transgender, that “lifestyle” wherein one can change from one’s given gender simply by deciding that one doesn’t like what Almighty God provided as equipment at birth. To the transfolk, we male and female “breeders” are more properly defined as “cisgender” and those following non-traditional gender roles instead are considered “non-binary.”
That’s all well and good if they don’t start begging for special privileges, but when they start demanding that the hallowed disciplines of mathematics be altered to accommodate their filthy activity? Unacceptable! Imagine if we asked Sir Isaac Newton if we could remove differential equations from calculus and replace them with lisping, cross-dressing algebraic expressions? A real man of Newton’s stature wouldn’t have stood for it. Not for a minute.
So, if you’re a parent of a student, for God’s sake be on the lookout for outside agitators who might want to insert “non-binary” numbers into your child’s curriculum. It’s bad enough when our Olympic icons are allowed to change their gender any time they get sick of looking at themselves on a Wheaties box. Do we have to tolerate sex-changes as a part of geometry, too? The last time I checked, my trusty old 486 processors were crunching those plain, old boy zeroes and girl ones just fine. Let’s not risk our place in the technological hierarchy for the sake of some crackpot liberal idea.
